INDEPENDENT THINKING. PRACTICAL BUILDING.
SHIVAWEB✳
Building practical digital solutions for real-world problems.
I explore everyday workflow problems and turn them into practical digital tools through research, prototyping, testing, and continuous improvement.
01 / ABOUT
Real workflows.
Thoughtful solutions.
I’m Shiva, a digital professional with experience across web development, digital marketing, operations, and customer-facing environments.
I’m particularly interested in finding inefficient manual processes and exploring how simple digital solutions can make them faster, clearer, and easier to manage.
My approach combines real-world observation, workflow design, rapid prototyping, testing, and iteration.

ILLUSTRATIVE WORKFLOW · NO LIVE DATAThis is an independent concept prototype created to explore potential workflow improvements. It is not an official Enterprise application or production system.
THE OBSERVATION
The Problem
Vehicle movement information is traditionally recorded through manual driver logs. Workflow observations inspired this prototype: a paper-based process can introduce friction in everyday operations.
- Repetitive manual entry
- Handwriting or transcription errors
- Limited real-time visibility
- Slower access to historical information
- Additional administrative work
- Paper consumption
- Difficulty standardizing information
THE OPPORTUNITY
The Idea
Create a simple mobile-friendly digital workflow that allows drivers to record vehicle movements as they happen while making the information easier to review, organize, and export.

- Vancouver-time shift handling
03 / DEVELOPMENT & TESTING
Built Through
Testing & Iteration
Observe → Design → Build → Test → Identify Issues → Improve → Retest
Progress comes from checking what works, identifying what doesn’t, and improving the next version.
These milestones describe prototype testing, not production-grade reliability.
- Authentication workflow tested
- Trip persistence tested
- Duplicate protection implemented
- Reporting reviewed
- 28 report records checked against underlying source data
- Backup capability tested
- A real restore test successfully performed
- Vancouver-time reporting implemented
CURRENT STATUS LIMITED PILOT TESTING
The prototype has reached a stage suitable for controlled real-world testing. During testing, the existing operational process should remain in use in parallel.
The prototype should not yet be presented as the sole official system or as production-ready.
Next Testing Phase ↗
- Simultaneous testing across multiple phones
- Full-shift / approximately eight-hour usage testing
- Incomplete-trip behavior around midnight
- Additional reliability testing
- Monitoring and issue-handling improvements
- Manager/admin two-factor authentication
- Automated backup outside the primary service
- Organizational integration review
- Enterprise IT/security review and approval if the concept progresses
04 / A LIGHTER WORKFLOW
From Paper Logs
to Digital Records↗
Digitizing driver logs could reduce dependence on printed paper records while also reducing repetitive manual handling of information.
- Less paper consumption & fewer printed logs
- Easier digital organization
- Faster information retrieval
- Reduced repetitive data entry
- Improved consistency
- Potential environmental benefit if adopted at scale
The environmental impact can be quantified later using real pilot data such as the number of driver logs replaced per day.
